Lumen is in public preview, provided as is. Use it for your own reading. Do not use it to store content you have no right to keep, to scrape at scale, or to abuse the demo or the AI quota.

Trials and limits

The 7 day Pro trial is one per person. Accounts made to get another trial, or to get around daily limits, may start on the free plan or be closed. Hosted AI has daily limits per account and across the service; when the service is busy, answers may come from a smaller model.

Your content

You own what you save and write. You give Lumen permission to store and process it to provide the service, and nothing more.

Availability

Features may change during the preview. You can export your data at any time; if the service ever shuts down you will get at least 60 days to export.

Open source

The code is on GitHub under the AGPL-3.0: you can run your own copy, and if you modify it and offer it to others, including as a hosted service, you must publish your changes under the same license.
